Day 14 – San Francisco, CA

Tell the people that you love that you love them.  That’s the take away from day 14.  My arrival in San Francisco was the 1 part of my trip that I was worried about.  On Sunday night I boarded a plane in Denver that left at 1am Mountain Standard time on a red-eye to JFK in New York.  Once I arrived in New York I had a 1 hour lay over and then I hopped onto a plane to San Francisco.  I was really worried about getting to San Francisco and being exhausted, drained, and in a bad mood.  I was pleasantly surprised when the EXACT opposite happened!

Which Verizon Phone Should I Get?

I’ve been an Apple fan boy for years.  I’ve been an iPhone fan boy since the 1st generation iPhone.  I bought the 3GS and the iPhone 4 on release day.  I’ve always overlooked AT&T’s sub-par service because I wanted to continue being an Apple fan boy.  But enough is enough, I’ve had it with AT&T and I’m ditching them and finally switching to Verizon.  I couldn’t make a call for OVER AN HOUR today even though I had 4 bars…  I could go on and on about why I’m done with AT&T, but the bottom line is that there are 2 questions that I need answered.

1) Which Android phone do I get?

2) How do I get out of paying the AT&T cancellation fee?

PLEASE vote in the poll and leave comments about your vote!  If I’m missing an option or if you think I shouldn’t go with Verizon please let me know that too!  If you are subscribed to the page and get these updates in an email, please visit the website to vote!

Day 13 – Denver, CO

Day 13 was a very personal day, as I spent the day with my Uncle Frank and Aunt Debbie.  Frank is mom’s youngest brother and they have lived in Colorado for as long as I can remember.  I have some GREAT memories of my parents and me in Vail for Christmas and mom would always tell a great story about Frank barreling down the mountain w/ his son (Cory) tucked under his arm so mom could babysit and Frank could hit the back country. Pepsi Refresh Project

Earlier this afternoon I received an email from my best friend asking me to go to this website and vote to fund less toxic cancer therapies for children.  As I’ve previously mentioned, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and I clearly was interested in learning more.  Turns out that Pepsi is giving away $250,000 to the top 2 vote getting causes.  How can you NOT vote for a better way to treat cancer?
